If it were only about salvation, Jesus would have gone straight to the cross. But He took a beating first to make provision for you to live healed and whole in this life.
So why are so many Christians sick?
There's only one reason: doubt. However, it presents itself in many different ways.
The sneakiest of all doubts is one that makes you feel responsible by doing your "due diligence."
It's when you research online and in the Word of God, analyzing all the potential causes and solutions. You become like a doctor to find both the diagnosis and the cure.
For several years, I had a growth in one of my nostrils that completely blocked airflow. I researched, diagnosed, and tried many things, including speaking the Word in faith.
But since my focus was tied up in the mental realm, I could not hear the answer from the Holy Spirit. Truthfully, I wasn't looking to the Spirit for the answer—I was looking to my own reasoning.
Years of suffering with a nasal polyp for no reason, because the Holy Spirit had the answer the whole time.
He led me to stop something I had been doing daily for over ten years: using a certain hair gel. I finally heard the instruction, stopped, and the growth was gone in two weeks.
This is the sneakiest of all doubts because it feels responsible. But Jesus never instructed us to diagnose and find a cure. He already cured it!
It's simple. We must trust that the Holy Spirit has the answer and wants us to have it right now. Quiet your reasoning, listen to the Spirit, and do what He tells you.
A demon interrupted our Easter service at NoLimits Church.
It became the most dramatic and amazing deliverance I have ever seen. A woman was delivered from many demons as the entire church engaged in casting them out.
An experience like this always leaves people wondering, "How do I know if I have a demon?"
Let me put you at ease. You'll know.
As you read about Jesus casting out demons, you find out that they manifested in one of three ways:
The demon-possessed were often brought to Jesus by their loved ones, meaning that it was obvious they were possessed.
You'll find lots of teaching on YouTube about demons and how they can hide and may be the cause of this or that. But since this teaching brings fear, we know it is not from God.
Jesus didn't command us to study demons. He just said to cast them out, which means it'll be obvious when to do so.
The lady delivered during our Easter service was brought by her mom. They already knew she needed deliverance.
So relax. Keep yourself in the peace and joy of God, because there, the devil and his shenanigans are nowhere to be found.
We confronted leviathan during our Easter service, with many other demons forming a shield around that crooked serpent.
As much as those demons wanted to hide, they couldn't help but cry out as a tongue and interpretation was released. And as soon as they did, our deliverance team jumped into action.
Positioned smack dab in the middle of the congregation was the precious woman being tormented by these demons. Everyone in the room fixed their attention on the dramatic manifestation.
Loud, piercing screams. Convulsions. Growling. Eyes rolling back. Everything you've seen on TV happening in front of our very eyes.
For forty minutes, I watched as the church worked together to boldly deliver her from everything that was forming a shield around leviathan, including demons and lies.
The demons did their best to intimidate, but failed at every attempt. We were full of joy and peace, praising God, singing, and laughing throughout the whole ordeal.
Finally, it happened. We heard the words, "I am leviathan!" That serpent may be one of the top rulers of hell, but was found in a church who is confident that Jesus has ALL authority.
The other demons couldn't lock eyes with me. But leviathan did. It was a face-off. As the apostle of NoLimits Church, I was the top authority in the room, and it knew.
At the direction of the Holy Spirit, I commanded the entire room to be quiet. The music stopped. The church stood quiet. The demon was silent, but continued to squirm as I forced it to listen to my wife prophesy the Word of the Lord.
Then I commanded, "I told you to be quiet, now I command you to be still. Enough."
After forty-five minutes of noise and commotion, the entire room was still, as if frozen in time.
With a calm, authoritative voice, I said, "Now. Come out. Now"
With a loud scream, leviathan came out, and the woman was completely free from all demonic torment from now until forever, in Jesus name.
Just as it says in Isaiah 27, "In the day the Lord will take his terrible, swift sword and punish leviathan, the swiftly moving serpent, the coiling, writhing serpent. He will kill the dragon of the sea."
Get ready, church. This sign, combined with the death of the Pope and resignation of Klaus Schwab, lets us know that we have entered into the greatest revival the world will ever see.
First revival, then Jesus comes. Glory to God!
Jesus knew that the Father had given him authority over everything... so He washed the disciples' feet. (John 13:3-5)
You've heard about this, but likely never realized that Jesus washed feet to demonstrate what true authority looks like.
Jesus knew, without a doubt, that the Father had given Him authority over everything. He didn’t need to prove it. He didn’t need to make people submit.
He was so secure in His authority that He took on the role of a servant. Think about it. Only insecure people lord their authority over others.
As a pastor, I get bad advice from other leaders from time to time. They tell me to hide my everyday self so that all you see is the anointing when I preach. Otherwise, you’ll lose respect.
That’s not what Jesus taught. He led by example, taking off His nice clothes to bend down and wash the disciples' feet. Why? Because His authority wasn’t dependent on how they viewed Him.
Jesus knew that He had authority, whether people realized it or not. He didn’t have to manufacture it by appearance or performance. And this is how we must live our lives.
Christ has given us authority over all the work of the enemy.
We don’t have to work it up. We don’t have to fake it. We can be at ease while we do good and heal all who are oppressed of the devil. Why? Because we know, without a doubt, that Jesus Christ is the King of kings.
It's time to rule and reign with Christ!
Tonight would have been the night that Jesus taught His disciples about Communion at the Last Supper.
Why did Jesus use two different elements? I mean, since the blood saves, why did Jesus also mention the bread?
The bread represents the physical body of Christ. Everything Jesus went through in His physical body, from the beating to taking on all the sickness of the world, was for one purpose: your physical body.
When we eat the communion bread, we remind ourselves that Jesus made provision for abundant life now. We’re not waiting for heaven. He gave us healing and wholeness now.
His shed blood provides forgiveness of sins, securing our eternity with God. But, He could have shed His blood without taking a beating in His body.
They could have quickly killed Him with a sword or many other ways. But that’s not what happened. Jesus took the beating so that you wouldn’t have to wait for heaven to be healed.
So, take communion tonight by faith, believing that the beating that Jesus took on His body made full provision for the healing of your body. By His stripes, you are healed.
And without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sins. It’s the shed blood of Jesus Christ that provided the way—the only way to eternity with our heavenly Father.
It’s the blood that forgives our sins. It’s the blood that makes us pure before God. Nothing but the blood of Jesus!
So, as you drink the cup, do it in faith, knowing that your eternity is secure through your faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
Glory to God!
I posted a short video explaining why we don't do easter eggs at NoLimits Church.
In short, when we bring in these distractions, it prevents the power of God from showing up. I'm not willing to trade in healing, miracles, and prophecy for plastic eggs.
As expected, some folks defended Easter egg hunts in the comments, explaining how they're used to draw people to church to hear the Gospel.
This makes sense, but it does not align with the Word of God. In other words, it is human wisdom, not God's.
Jesus never used gimmicks to draw a crowd. If His incredible teaching, healing, and deliverance weren't enough to draw them in, they missed out.
In fact, we have record of Jesus rebuking a crowd of people for following Him for free food after they had seen Him feed the 5,000. The result? Many of them turned away.
Easter egg hunts produce lukewarm Christians at best.
And at worst? They distract people from Jesus.
Where did the church get off thinking it could manipulate people to hear the gospel? This is ridiculous.
Jesus taught us exactly how to evangelize the world. Teach the Word of God with great authority and heal the sick. Period.
