In Mark 10, Jesus was not saying, “I hate rich people.”
Jesus was saying, “Hey, rich person, I have a proposal for you. Give Me all you have, and you will end up with multiplied prosperity without sorrow.”
It doesn't make sense to give up everything you've worked for. But God knows best.
The reason God makes you give everything before you receive the hundredfold return is because it breaks the power of mammon over your life.
And this is necessary. Because if you don't, mammon will suck the life right out of you.
If you want God's kind of prosperity, give Him everything you have, trusting that He will multiply it.
Just like a seed in the ground, you don't see it for a while. But the harvest must come.
If you don't get this right, you will fail to build what God wants you to build.
Jesus has one project on the earth: building His church. As many as will submit to Him, He will hire for the job.
We are His contractors in building the church.
Here's what you need to remember: Contractors don't pay for the building.
The owner doesn't ask the contractor to foot the bill. Rather, the owner pays for everything, including paying the contractor to build.
Most Christians and church leaders see themselves as the owner. They don't build to the extent God wants them to because they think they're responsible for the cost.
Our job is to build, not to pay for it. When a bill comes due, we simply submit it to the Owner, whose bank account is always full.
Being a good steward is not about how well you save money. It is not how frugal you are.
In the parable of the good steward, who is rewarded for good stewardship?
Was it the one who saved? No. Was it the one who was frugal? No.
The good stewards were the ones who multiplied.
It takes faith to multiply. You have to put what you have in the ground as seed. It disappears for a while, but when you see it again, it will be multiplied.
This is the law of sowing and reaping. Whether starting a business, investing, or giving into the work of God, you are sowing financial seed.
And you should think of it this way: “I’m not going to see this for a while. But when it comes back to me, it is going to be multiplied.”
You should expect it. Because Jesus said that whatever you give up for Him in this life will come back to you one hundredfold.
If you don’t have an expectation for a multiplied return on your giving, it simply means you don't believe what Jesus said.
It's not holy. It's not humble. It is simply unbelief.
Get rid of all unbelief today and declare in accordance with God's Word, "Every seed I’ve ever sown into the Kingdom of God will come back to me one hundredfold."
The Lord is calling an end to financial struggle in your life.
But you must know that the end of financial struggle doesn’t come from more money coming into your hands.
The end of financial struggle comes from seeing money the way God does.
So, when you call an end to financial struggle, you are inviting Him to renew your mind in the area of money.
Do you want to see money the way God does?
Do you realize that if you truly saw money the way God does, there would never be a financial struggle?
The next time money pressures you, pray this, "God, help me see money the way you do."
The Lord doesn't always give you the outcome of your obedience to motivate you to obey Him.
He expects you to obey simply because you received a command from the Lord.
He says, “Do this.” You say, “Yes, sir. That’s exactly what I’m doing.”
This is the highest life with the Lord, where you trust Him fully.
You don’t have to know. You don’t have to understand.
As a matter of fact, you don’t even consult with your reasoning on whether you should obey.
You read the Scripture and obey what it says.
Living this kind of life is good. It is an adventure. It is a weight off.
It is the highest kind of life.
It's time for us to repent for thinking we can put God on a schedule.
Who are we to give Him deadlines?
Who are we to get impatient when church goes longer than an hour and a half?
When sports demand an incredible amount of time, most don't even complain.
Watching reels or a favorite TV show eats up hours every day without a second thought.
So, why is it, when it comes to things of God, that we get impatient? Why do we impose deadlines on the Creator of the universe that we wouldn't dare impose on a coach?
It's time to repent by saying, "Father, have as much time as You need."
