We see everything in a linear timeline. God doesn't.

God knows the end from the beginning. He is the alpha and the omega, the first and last.

God can operate within time and outside of it. He even reads it in reverse, starting with the end.

So, when a prophecy is released, either through the scriptures or the gifts of the Spirit, it can span different timelines. When we force all prophecy into a linear timeline, we often fail to receive the revelation God has for us.

For example, let's say you had a dream from God. Things were progressing through time, and then there was a shift in the dream.

It may seem random, but that is your indicator that you've just jumped timelines. You were seeing one portion of time, and now you are seeing another.

The second part of the dream may not even be ahead of the first one. You may have just jumped backwards in time, or forwards, or maybe even a restart of the same time frame from a different perspective.

Now it may sound complicated, but it's not. All you need to do is stop forcing messages from God into a linear timeline.

Because if you are stuck in linear thinking, Holy Spirit can't reveal to you the actual timeline. It's like you have the wrong glasses on.

But take them off by being open to seeing time from God's perspective, and everything comes into focus.
