Sickness protects itself by posing as the suffering you should have as a Christian.

But, according to the Bible, sickness doesn't qualify as suffering for Christ.

Jesus suffered many things, but not even once do we read of Jesus being sick. Not only was He not sick, but He went about healing everyone who would receive.

But what about Paul's thorn in the flesh?

Well, what about it? We don't share in Paul's sufferings. We share in Christ's sufferings. Even so, Paul's thorn was not sickness. Scripture makes it clear, it was a MESSENGER of Satan.

What does that mean? Over and over, Paul had to listen to the enemies' lies and overcome them with the Word of God.

Jesus went through that same type of suffering, didn't He? Along with endless persecution, even from those closest to Him.

Yes, you will experience suffering for Christ, but it has nothing to do with sickness.

Sickness is suffering under the oppression of the enemy. Jesus gave you authority over all the power of the enemy. It's time to start using it.
