So, we talk about it. It’s the logical way to reveal evil to those who are in the dark.
But what if that’s not what God meant?
In Ephesians 5:11, we are told to expose the worthless deeds of evil and darkness. Then, in the very next verse, we are told that it is shameful to even talk about these things.
Okay. So, if we are not supposed to talk about it, how do we expose it?
Just keep reading, because the very next verse contains the answer: “They will be exposed when the light shines on them.”
Where does this light come from? Start at the beginning of the chapter, and you’ll find out that we are the light, but only when we walk according to the light.
The way we expose darkness is to live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ.
As children of light, we don’t have to say a word. We just have to show up. Our very presence exposes and drives out darkness.
