Hogwash: Jesus Was Poor

"Although He was rich, Jesus became poor so that we could become rich."

People use this verse found in 2 Corinthians 8 to justify poverty in the life of a Christian.

This is hogwash in every direction.

First of all, this scripture is hyper clear that Jesus paid the price for us to escape poverty.

On top of this, think about what Jesus considered poor.

He received ultra-valuable gifts at His birth. He provided the best wine at a wedding. He fed 5,000 people. He paid taxes with a gold coin out of a fish's mouth.

Apparently, this is what poverty looks like to Jesus. (He did come from streets of gold, after all.)

What Jesus calls poverty, we call well off. Anyone who can feed 5,000 people is doing quite well.

Just imagine what "rich" must look like to Jesus. And remember, He told us to do greater works than He did.

What are we waiting on? It's time to position yourself for great wealth.

Grab my book, God's End-Time Wealth Transfer. It will help you think differently about money so you can receive and release the end-time wealth God is pouring out.

Requirement for New Level of Wealth

The only difference between you and a billionaire is how you think about money.

This is something the Lord spoke to me. The level of wealth you live in is not consequential. It is directly tied to your viewpoint on money.

I saw a video of someone criticizing the makers of Dawn dish soap for being greedy for developing a spray version that contains only 1/16th the amount of soap, yet they are charging more for it.

There was a time that I would have agreed. But that's a poverty mindset at work.

No one is forcing people to buy the new soap. The old version is still available! The makers of Dawn are geniuses with the new product. They found something people wanted and can charge more for it. That's a win for the people and a win for Dawn.

This is just one example of many that proves the only difference between you and a billionaire is how you think about money.

I want to think like God thinks. How about you? To Him, money is a small thing and an endless supply.

So let's get wealthy without wealth having us by changing the way we think.

So Much Prosperity!

"The people of the world will see all the good I do for my people, and they will tremble with awe at the peace and prosperity I provide for them."

That's what God says in Jeremiah 33:9.

Did you know that it gives God great joy to do good for His people? He delights in our prosperity!

Not only that, but God wants us to have so much peace and prosperity that it causes the world to tremble with awe.

The world should be in a state of shock at how blessed the people of God are.

Remember that the next time some fool tries to convince you that prosperity is not of God. Go ahead and strike down that ridiculous lie and allow God to make you so prosperous that the world can't figure you out.

Be blessed!

Let's Talk About Tithe 💰

There are many controversial subjects at church, the tithe being at the top of the list.

Some argue that it was only a part of the Old Covenant. Others argue that giving is a heart issue, not a percentage issue.

Both are interesting conversations to have, but let me give you another viewpoint.

Whenever the Bible provides specific instructions on money, I follow them. The tithe is a very plainly written instruction in Malachi—the first 10% of our increase belongs to God.

Where does it say to give it? Where we get fed spiritually (the storehouse). And that's the amazing thing about the tithe. It belongs to God, only for God to use it to feed you.

What is the result of obeying this command? It opens the windows to heaven's endless blessings.

Tithing moves you from the world's economy to God's economy.

So, my question is, why would you want to debate the tithe? It's all-around an amazing thing. Just do it.

“God Allowed It” Is a Lazy Lie

Psalm 23  single-handedly carries the power to destroy every lie you’ve believed about God causing us harm.

You might say, “I don’t believe God causes harm, but I do believe He allows it.”

That’s a terrible stance to take. You are still making God responsible for bad things.

It’s time to grow up. Every time you push blame on God or someone else, you are just revealing how immature you are.

This is really simple. God gave us dominion. Christ redeemed our authority. Anything that is messed up in this life is on us.

It’s not that we have to fix it ourselves. God is more than willing to help. Actually, He is at the edge of His seat waiting for us to ask Him for help.

But we have to initiate. This is our domain.

That's why Jesus said, "IF YOU ASK anything in My Name, I will do it."

So, go ahead. Take up the authority Christ redeemed and then ask Him to help you. He'll do it, just like He promised.

God's Sovereignty Explained

When we accuse God of causing us harm, we're calling Him a liar.

That’s why I’m here to remind you of His goodness. If we don’t keep His goodness before us, we’ll start blaming Him for sickness, tragedy, and all other kinds of darkness.

Far be it from us to accept these things in our lives because of a wrong understanding of God’s sovereignty. Yes, He is sovereign. But in His sovereignty, He gave us dominion over the earth.

Whatever happens here is on us.

It makes people mad when I teach this because all of a sudden, they are responsible. They can’t blame God in some foolish display of false humility, saying dumb things like, “Apparently this is what God wanted, so I accept it.”

It sure is convenient for the devil for you to believe that God’s plan includes sickness, poverty, and tragedy. When that’s your belief, it’s a free pass for the devil to do whatever he wants in your life.

But when you know the truth, it sets you free. When you find out that God wants you healthy, prosperous, and protected, a boldness comes over you to run off the devil and his schemes.

Read Psalm 23. That's what God wants.
