God Gave You Right Standing

So many people are always trying to earn something from God.

But you can't earn something that has already been given.

How strange would it be for a wife to try to earn a relationship with her husband?

They are already married! If she remains in an earning mentality, it destroys the relationship because true intimacy is impossible when one spouse feels they have to perform for the other.

In Romans 8, we discover that God gave us right standing through Christ. He gave it to us because no amount of earning could ever buy it.

But if you keep trying to buy something that's already been given to you, it messes the whole thing up.

Receive the gift through Christ. You've been given right standing with God.

So, draw close to Him knowing you have the right to be there.
