The Lord doesn't always give you the outcome of your obedience to motivate you to obey Him.
He expects you to obey simply because you received a command from the Lord.
He says, “Do this.” You say, “Yes, sir. That’s exactly what I’m doing.”
This is the highest life with the Lord, where you trust Him fully.
You don’t have to know. You don’t have to understand.
As a matter of fact, you don’t even consult with your reasoning on whether you should obey.
You read the Scripture and obey what it says.
Living this kind of life is good. It is an adventure. It is a weight off.
It is the highest kind of life.
