Revival is not for the lost. It's for the weak, dying church.
You cannot revive something that wasn't first alive.
Jesus' number one priority in the last days is reviving the Church.
How do we know? Revelation chapters 2 and 3. He didn't write end-time letters to the lost, but to the Church, because most Christians were hanging on by a thread.
Some forgot how to love. Others feared death. Many were tolerating sin, especially sexual sin. Then there were those who looked alive on the outside, but they were dead on the inside. And of course, the lukewarm with one foot with Jesus and the other in the world.
When it comes to revival, this is who the Lord is after.
It's not that He doesn't care about the lost. He just knows that the only true remedy for the lost is a glorious Church.
Many are quick to condemn the Churches that qualify for the rebukes in Revelation. But I would recommend you not join company with the accuser of the brethren.
Decide to love the Church as much as Jesus does. Work with Him to revive the church. It's the only hope for a lost and dying generation.
