In these last days, wickedness is shockingly vile.
Hateful words spread in abundance. Sexual perversion has become a "good" thing. The assassination of a young husband and father is celebrated.
And the most shocking part of it all? Those leading the charge consider themselves godly and righteous in their pursuit of evil.
For those uncontaminated by end-time deception, we must remember the words that wrap up Psalm 112.
The desire of the wicked shall perish.
It may seem like they are getting away with it. But rest assured, no one gets away with anything.
These evil people will either receive mercy through repentance or they will burn forever in their arrogance.
Our job is to ask God to rescue them. Salvation through Jesus Christ is just as available to them as it is to you.
Love your enemies. Bless those who curse you. Do good to those who despitefully use you.
It's an odd response, but it's commanded by the One we follow. In a world overflowing with evil, let your world be overflowing with forgiveness and assurance in Jesus Christ.
