It takes an incredible amount of humility to walk by faith.

You have to sacrifice your own understanding and trust God when it doesn't make sense.

You have to let God off the hook for all the memories that seem to negate His promises.

You have to uncover all the times you thought you had faith but didn't.

You have to endure ridicule from those around you.

There is no faith without first being humbled before God.

So, if you desire to walk by faith, empty yourself at the feet of Jesus.

Give Him your memories that contradict His promises. Hand over every disappointment.

Give Him your reputation so you no longer fear the response of others.

Lay down your own understanding to acknowledge that His ways are better.
