"The people of the world will see all the good I do for my people, and they will tremble with awe at the peace and prosperity I provide for them."
That's what God says in Jeremiah 33:9.
Did you know that it gives God great joy to do good for His people? He delights in our prosperity!
Not only that, but God wants us to have so much peace and prosperity that it causes the world to tremble with awe.
The world should be in a state of shock at how blessed the people of God are.
Remember that the next time some fool tries to convince you that prosperity is not of God. Go ahead and strike down that ridiculous lie and allow God to make you so prosperous that the world can't figure you out.
Be blessed!
Let’s deal with the lie head-on: prosperity is not a dirty word. It’s a promise.
God isn’t squeamish about blessing His people. He’s thrilled to do it. He said it Himself: “They will tremble with awe at the peace and prosperity I provide for them.” (Jeremiah 33:9)
The world should be shocked by how blessed you are—not confused about whether God is even with you.
Religious tradition wants you broke, humble, and grateful for scraps. But God wants you full of peace, overflowing with provision, and bold in generosity.
God doesn’t bless you to stroke your ego. He blesses you to put Himself on display. He wants the world to look at your life and say, “Only God could’ve done that.”
If it doesn’t cause awe, it’s not finished yet.
The blessing isn’t just for you—it’s for them. It points people to a God who’s not stingy or silent. A God who shows up with answers, strategy, and overflow.
God told Abraham that all nations would be blessed through him. That same covenant runs through you. When you’re blessed, it should ripple into your community, your church, and your city.
That’s not greed. That’s gospel.
You’ve heard the whispers: “Jesus was poor.” “Money is evil.” “You should be content with less.”
None of that came from the Spirit of God.
Jesus had everything He needed, when He needed it. He was funded by Kingdom partners. He had a treasurer. He fed thousands with leftovers. He paid taxes with a miracle.
Poverty is not holy. Scarcity doesn’t sanctify. Lack doesn’t glorify God.
Faith does. Obedience does. Overflow that leads to generosity absolutely does.
When the world sees a Christian walk in peace during chaos… when they see your business thrive while others close doors… when they see you give while others hoard…
It shakes their worldview.
That’s what Jeremiah 33:9 is talking about. The awe isn’t just from the stuff—it’s from the peace and power behind the stuff.
You didn’t get here by hustle. You got here by favor. And that’s what makes people take notice.
The blessing of God on your life should raise eyebrows. Not because of extravagance—but because of unmistakable evidence that God is with you.
Let Him bless you loud. Let Him use your life to stir up awe.
Peace and prosperity are your portion. Receive it. Walk in it. Let it speak louder than any religious argument ever could.
