God desires that we become better askers.

Jesus made it clear in His teachings that we don't ask often enough or big enough.

If what we are asking for isn't beyond our comprehension, it's not big enough. We should be asking for what we perceive to be impossible.

And we should be asking every day for the impossible.

There's a great harvest for the people of God. And He's not asking us to work harder to bring in the harvest. Our hard work will never get the job done.

The only labor capable of bringing in the harvest is the labor of rest.

We're not talking about sitting on your rear end doing nothing. Resting in God is asking for the impossible and trusting Him to give you what you ask for.

It's work to enter that kind of rest. Everything around you is trying to steal your faith. It takes work to hold the line. But it's the only labor that will bring in the harvest.

Be intentional. Take time every day to dream of the impossible and ask God for it. Then, labor to enter into His rest where you fully trust Him to do what you ask.
