Birthing spiritual things requires intimacy with God.
To fulfill His plan for your life, intimacy is required.
To receive His promises and protection, intimacy is required.
Just like intimacy is required between husband and wife to bear children, intimacy is required between Jesus and His church to bear much fruit.
You can't just know about Jesus. You have to know Him intimately.
Just like in a godly marriage, you give everything, and so does He. Nothing is reserved or hidden. The two become one.
If you only visit Jesus on Sunday... If you relate to Him as a casual friend... If you perceive Him as far off... that's why you are struggling.
Intimacy is a choice. He's already given you everything. Now, it's just up to you.
