When the Bible rebukes a rich person, it's probably not what you think.
It has nothing to do with the amount of money. It's all about their relationship with money.
God has given us power to get wealth. There are many godly people in the Bible who were also wealthy.
Wealth is not the problem. But a wrong relationship with money is a huge problem.
So how do you know if that's you? There are a few indicators.
You would rather pad your savings than invest and be generous. You have no regard for the prosperity of others as you obsess over getting the best deal. You live to satisfy your every desire. You find security in the size of your bank account.
That's the rich person the Bible rebukes. But great wealth in the hands of God's generous people—that's what God wants.
